Retrotel recently purchased 150 tickets to the Living Desert Museum so the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission could take all of the kids, parents, residents and employees over to see the Living Desert Museum and the zoo’s incredible display of holiday lights as well as take carousel rides.
The Mission currently houses 150 men, women and children. They also provide emergency shelter to an additional 75 people nightly. They serve about 600 meals a day or about 200,000 meals yearly. Their residential programs have a nearl;y 80% success rate of permanently ending homelessness. Thery depend heavily upon community support to to do this.
